About me

I like owning a feature from the first sketch to production.

I’m Arjun, a software engineer in Milwaukee with 4+ years of full-time experience. Right now I build an enterprise HR platform at Rs Technologies: the Angular screens, the REST APIs, the SQL Server data model, the security, and the pipelines that feed reporting.

Most of my code is Python and SQL, with C#/.NET and Angular alongside it. I enjoy the whole path data takes through a product: how it’s modeled, how it moves through Kafka and Azure pipelines, and how it ends up in a report someone trusts.

Lately I’ve been building LLM-backed tools with OpenAI that route requests, summarize and retrieve information. I’ve also set myself a goal to build and ship something new every day, with AI as my pair programmer and tests as my safety net. Everything I ship lands on this page.

How I build with AI

AI helps me move fast. Tests keep it right.

AI writes much of the first draft. I own the design, review every change, and don’t ship until the tests pass. This is the loop I used for Tally and for this site.

  1. Design the system first

    I write down who it’s for, the data model, the APIs and what “done” means before any code exists.

  2. Build with an AI pair programmer

    I work with Claude and OpenAI models to draft features, then read, question and rewrite what they produce.

  3. Test it like production

    Automated browser tests click through every feature. Tally ships with 32 of them, including two phones syncing at once.

  4. Ship it the same day

    Push to GitHub, deploy to GitHub Pages, and it’s live in about a minute. Then I start the next one.

  • Secured the platform with JWT authentication and role-based access for Admin, HR and Employee users, with audit logging of every view and change to employee data.
